Salman Khan has always been in media for his distinctive acting talent in movies and for the controversies that don’t let him feel alone. He was spotted in media during his affair with Aishwarya. Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan came closer during the shooting of a block buster hit film – “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam”. Their affair lasted for a short period from 1999-2000 and after which they officially broke up in 2002. On asking the reason behind breakup, Aishwarya revealed that Salman has been unfaithful to her.
After the breakup of Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan, Aishwarya accused Salman of harassing her. She had to file a police complaint against him. She alleged that Salman after being intoxicated broke the furniture and windowpanes of her home. She even had to take the services of private security guards and police also that guarded her during film shootings.
The negative shade of this affair lasted long and rose again when Mumbai police released a recording of mobile call in which Salman verbally threatened Aishwarya to appear at an event. This recording harmed the social status of Salman and rumors started regarding the link of Salman with Mumbai underworld. However, this tape was proved as, fake by the Forensic lab.
